Friday 05/10/2007
now we have, everything is ready, the car loaded and fueled, and we look ... together we say in unison: we start?!? And so on .... Monaco, the Oktoberfest and Dachau are close, "only 550 km. This little trip to Germany in October and was organized in May and already we have now. We are two couples, and we're off to about 9 in the morning. The Brenner motorway is almost endless.

Arriviamo Monaco at the hotel around 16.30 Schlicker was long. The hotel is located downtown, just steps from the historical attractions and pleasure of the city and also has a car park (€. 10 per day, not bad with the times we live in today). I want to get better or see review, because I and Clara were already in Monaco in December 2003, and who knows if something has changed .... The city seems very clean, as always, feel groups of kids come and go Oktoberfest; well is the right time. Place the bag, and a wash down to the center. After two steps we are already in the pedestrian area, very large in the city center. First you'll visit 's Hard Rock cafe , for the purchase of T-shirt, the place is also a cafe, very nice. Within walking distance are the two official stores of the two football teams from Monaco: Monaco Monaco and Bayer 1860; only original gadget. A little further is the famous and historic Brewery HB - beautiful as always. Here Hitler founded the Nazi party, thank goodness that today is only a merry and crowded pub, where you can drink, eat and have fun. We continue, and it is now evening coolness. We get called to the building Residenz. Fine building style Palazzo Pitti in Florence over the centuries was the sumptuous residence of the kings of Bavaria, it now contains a museum. On the front side of the oldest Residenzstrasse there are lions in bronze at Munich such as stroking the noses (now faded) believed to bring good luck; anything goes!. Returning to the center come in the main square Marienplatz . Seat of political power of the Bavarian town where marble monolith on a high 11.60 meters was erected a magnificent bronze statue of the Virgin Mary patroness of Bavaria (thank you for ending the occupation of the Swedish 1631-34) with the landmark di Monaco il NEUES RATHAUS (nuovo Municipio) e il suo famoso carillon , il più grande di tutta la Germania, con le sue 43 campane, che tutti i giorni alle ore 11, 12, e d’estate alle 17 anima le sue 32 figure in rame a grandezza naturale.
For dinner we went next to the hotel in a Bavarian-style restaurant called Meinhaus schneider where we ate a delicious fondue, and ending with a beer in the brewery's most famous HB sitting in the garden; c ' was a lot of people, wonderful evening!. Saturday, 6/10/2007

Today we dedicate ourselves to the real reason for the visit to Monaco, the Oktoberfest!! On opening day, the mayor of the city before you open the first barrel screaming: O 'zapft is ... and the party begin!

Admission is free and hours are Monday to Thursday: 10-23.30 Friday: 10-24 Saturday: 9-24 Sunday and Holidays: 9-23.30, beer is served until 22.30 (the last day until 23.30) will only pay for their drinks: a glass of beer (eine mass) about half a liter € 7.00 Baked Chicken, delicious €. 9, 00 is a bit 'expensive but worth it.
The only thing I did not like was the dilution of the beer, which I had the pleasure to attend the tapping of a glass which was half water and half beer, it did not take!
Bellissimo, soprattutto pensando che la struttura external enclosing the stadium is also spin the fans keep it always in the right place and also inflates, best thing is that you can color depending on the team that will play can hold about 70,000 people (just 69,900) and inside there is also a museum. To our misfortune in the evening we played the Bayer Monaco and therefore the entry was forbidden. Proceed north and reach the town of Dachau, 18 km. northwest of the city. This delightful Bavarian-style village is unfortunately sadly associated with the presence of one of the terrible Nazi extermination camps. Follow the signs for NZ-Gendenkstatte (visiting hours 9-17, closed Monday) from 1933 to 1945 were brutally murdered 50,000 people. Admission is free, pay the parking €. 2 and if you want sound-speaking guide (recommended) €. 3. Already at the entrance gate there is a disturbing
phrase "Arbeit Macht Frei" (Work makes you free IL) really terrible. The camp was originally introduced as a munitions factory and then looked for a job.
Jourhaus The main building was the command post of the commander of the camp houses a museum of artifacts, testimonials, and videos, before there is a monument to the victims of deportations Fritz Koelle representing all the pain and suffering delle persone che sono passate da qui.

The visit of the first concentration camp, taken as an example for its structure for all fields of this kind, it really makes you think and comes away with the thought of what might make a man to his fellow man is an experience to do in life, one thing turns me on the head: NO MORE '!

Well, our trip to Monaco and ends around here, it was a nice weekend.

Good Seasoning For Popcorn 2010

un pò del mio percorso di viaggiatore...

A bit of my path of travelers
Prologue
Hello my name is Luca di Bologna and now I'm 32 and I would like to tell the curious reader the path that led me to love life and especially travel . Since the age of Emilia Romagna, a good 16 years and seen my young age I spent the summer in the Romagna. My first years I was in the areas of Cesenatico Valverde, after I moved in Ferrara, namely the Lido Nations with my cousin who is like a brother to me. Our summer world was locked in this location, for heaven's sake I have great memories (especially in July when the first buses arrived full of girls from the then Czechoslovakia and, therefore, was to have fun ....), The company that we had built in time was always the same every year that passed, only "older", so we were very good.

Dora in avanti When I travel, I always carry a notebook with me to give a place on the card, a memory, a feeling I had, and of course to useful information and thus they make known to others.

The first experiences, traveling as a single:

1992 Paris school trip to the upper third, travel by train. I remember that we traveled at night, but we have not slept at all we were all excited and loads ready for adventure. We visited the city, we climbed the Eiffel Tower that I liked very much, Notre Dame and other things I forgot. We were young and in the company, so there badavamo much to the beauty of the city, we would like to return soon with my wife. I remember the neighborhood of the Moulin Rouge, and with a smile as you are done plucking some of my classmates.
Here I also started a collection of miniature symbols of the place (the Eiffel Tower in metal) that I still to this day, I have three shelves full.

1993, three fantastic:

Vienna - Prague - Salzburg school trip to the fourth top bus trip. I remember with pleasure this bus trip, we had the camera with us, especially because we went to the East, home of beautiful blondes and "easy". The cities were beautiful, especially Prague, which, unlike the last visit in 2005 (see story) was still immaculate, with his authentic charm.

1994 London My first plane trip that emotion!. Even this place I was very impressed both the high cost of living is because we made a bunch of friends who did not follow the teachers (we have even risked suspension and will not be allowed to maturity, but we felt we had 18 years and independent) but he went for his facts, not only museums but also shows and entertainment. I remember we went to a place to recall the story of Alien, and we formed a group of soldiers who chased the alien.

Delizioso seaside village, where the towers are similar to that of San Marco in Venice, here the influence of Venetian naval power is tangible everywhere, beautiful color and assumes the Adriatic fish is very good. Proceed along the huge and spectacular Balaton, Lake also called the Hungarian sea and arrive in Budapest. Beautiful capital divided in two (geographically speaking, is now combined) from the Danube river, the hills on the west side is Buda and Obuda (Old Buda), where there are the remains of the ancient city: a beautiful building made of white walls and turrets. Lowland is Pest, the administrative side with the beautiful Parliament. Also worthy of note the symbol of Budapest Chain Bridge and the Heroes' Square. We did not stop here, Hungary was of view and therefore we went to the Puszta region consists of vast expanses of steppe plain, where many were the storks nest on rooftops and light poles. We stopped in three countries:
Eger, Miskolc , Debrecen
charming village, where time seemed to stand still, with well-preserved historical centers and where the food is good, this is the home of goulash (beef stew with potatoes) really good. We leave Hungary with the promise to return, but who knows ... .. The last stop was Bratislava, now the capital of the Slovak Republic since 1990, is divided into the Czech Republic; peacefully. I remember when we arrived it was mid-August and went to find my "friend" who lived with her. They have welcomed us very friendly and accompanied around the city, always their guests. The outskirts of the city was still mold "Soviet" with enormous dormitories-gray tower blocks, the center very well maintained, everything is dominated by the castle on top of a hill and watches the city from the TV tower that is open and the top c 'is a revolving restaurant. It 's really a nice tour, we visited many interesting things; experience to be repeated.

. Infine per poi tornare a Bangkok e ripartire per una settimana nella splendida isola di Koh Samui where three days were awful, it rained forever (August is the worst time to visit Thailand), but three others were beautiful, only a wonderful sea and friendly people and fantastic. I do not know how many temples, Buddha, ruins and people we met on this wonderful journey, but one thing is for sure: I'll just make it with my wife.
Surely I missed something, but believe me it is not easy to recall 15 years of life and travels, I still hope not to have annoiato.Qui ends the first part, why come back from this last trip I got to know what is my present wife, Chiara .
